We aim to bring you some of the best new writing from across Europe.

In seven issues, our predecessor Trafika published the work of over 120 authors writing in over 30 languages from around the world. Contributors included: Czeslaw Milosz, Tomaz Salamun, Natasza Goerke, Don DeLillo, Mohammed Choukri, Ales Debeljak, Anna Swir, Gyorgy Konrad, Peter Nadas, Denis Johnson, Uche Nduka, Eleni Sikelianos, Yusef Komunyakaa, Martin M. Simecka, Hanoch Levin, Tor Ulven, Ilona Lackova, and Javiar Marias.

The new Trafika Europe is turning its lens exclusively on Europe. We want to bring you new poetry and fiction in English and fresh English translation from established and up-and-coming writers across the Council of Europe countries. Each online edition will feature a different cultural/country focus; collectively we’ll explore what makes up today’s European literature.
