We are so happy to welcome Prof. Dr. Ervin Laszlo to the Trafika Europe Board of Advisors. One of the great renaissance thinkers of our times, Dr. Laszlo is an advisor to the UNESCO Director General, ambassador of the International Delphic Council, and a member of the International Academy of Science, World Academy of Arts and Science, and the International Academy of Philosophy. He has the highest degree from the Sorbonne University in philosophy of science, and is generally credited with founding systems philosophy.
Dr. Laszlo served as research director at the United Nations headquarters in New York, authoring over 20 studies there on the new world economic order, and regional and interregional cooperation – the latter a topic dear to us at Trafika Europe.
Dr. Laszlo is also founder and head of the International Club of Budapest, a collection of unusually gifted members dedicated to building greater consciousness by interconnecting generations and cultures, integrating spirituality, arts and sciences, and fostering communities of learning.
Dr. Laszlo has synthesized his many years of research in science, culture and spiritual traditions, to come up with the Akashic Field, an integrated theory which accounts elegantly for the many strange anomalies in the advanced sciences.
His appointments have included research grants at Yale and Princeton Universities. Twice nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, he has authored more than 70 books and over four hundred articles and research papers. He has also been an acclaimed international pianist, with six volumes of recordings to his name. Dr. Laszlo lives with family in Tuscany, in northern Italy.
We are grateful for the wisdom he brings to our project, and his remarkably deep insights into the cultural conversation in Europe.
